Dhruv Hegde is a Computer Science and Mathematics student at the University of Michigan and a software engineer building production intelligent systems — autonomous ADAS calibration at Nadir, sub-second payment telemetry at Visa, and open-source quantitative and computer-vision tooling on GitHub. He is also a published author, writing literary fiction and philosophy at the intersection of physics and consciousness.
Born February 23, 2007 in Canton, Michigan, Dhruv attended Salem High School before enrolling at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. His path runs through NASA wind-tunnel simulation, Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory fusion imaging, CERN IceCube neutrino machine learning, and U-M Climate & Space spacecraft telemetry — alongside founding Nadir and shipping Graphite, Stipulate, Auxano, IVSurf, and bomIQ.
He cares about systems that survive production: sensor fusion under drift, stream processing at financial scale, and computer-vision pipelines that ship peer-reviewed results. His work spans three peer-reviewed publications, two published books, and 18+ open-source repositories.
Open to software engineering, autonomous systems, and ML infrastructure roles. Always interested in hard technical problems at the intersection of research and production.
